We had a wonderful stay at Hare and Hounds in Rye! The bed and breakfast room was immaculate, cozy, and thoughtfully designed with every detail in mind for a relaxing getaway. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the countryside views from the window added to the charm.
The hosts were welcoming and attentive, ensuring we felt at home without being intrusive. Breakfast was an absolute highlight – freshly prepared, it truly set the tone for the day.
We also loved how close it was to some lively beach walks. Camber Sands was a standout, offering stunning views and fresh sea air – the perfect addition to a peaceful retreat.
The location was perfect: peaceful and tucked away, yet just a short drive to the heart of Rye and nearby attractions. If you’re looking for a warm and inviting stay with character, Hare and Hounds is a perfect choice. We can’t wait to return!

Just an amazing site and a very warm welcome. Good location, close to good walks and a good bus service. and a warm welcome. Toilets and showers exceptional. This is our second visit and will be our go to get way place.
